सत्त्वं हि मूलमर्थस्य वितथं यदतोऽन्यथा।
न तु प्रसक्तं भवति वृक्षच्छायेव हैमनी॥ ६४॥

आत्मबल ही धन का मूल है, जो कुछ इसके विपरीत है वह मिथ्या है; क्योंकि शीतकाल में वृक्षों की छाया के समान आत्मा की वह दुर्बलता व्यर्थ है ॥ 64॥
‘Self-strength is the root of wealth, whatever is contrary to this is false; because like the shade of trees during winter season, that weakness of the soul is of no avail. ॥ 64॥
