द्रव्यार्थस्पर्शसंयोगे या प्रीतिरुपजायते।
स कामश्चित्तसंकल्प: शरीरं नास्य दृश्यते॥ ३०॥
अनुवाद
‘स्त्री, माला, चंदन आदि के स्पर्श से जो सुख होता है और सुवर्ण आदि धन की प्राप्ति होती है, उसके लिए मन में जो संकल्प उत्पन्न होता है, उसे काम कहते हैं। उस लिंग का शरीर दिखाई नहीं देता (इसीलिए उसे ‘अनंग’ कहते हैं)। 30॥
‘The happiness that comes from the touch of woman, garland, sandalwood etc. and the gain of wealth like gold etc., the resolution that arises in the mind for it, is called Kama. The body of that sex is not visible (that is why it is called 'Ananga'). 30॥
