‘जैसे जल सूख जाने पर मछली का मरना निश्चित है, वैसे ही जो मनुष्य धर्म के अर्थ से रहित होकर केवल विषय-भोगों में ही लिप्त रहता है, जब वह विषय-भोग (भौतिक भोग) समाप्त हो जाता है, तब उसकी भी मृत्यु निश्चित है।॥ 27॥
‘Just as the death of a fish is certain when the water dries up, similarly, a person who is devoid of the meaning of Dharma and indulges only in sensual pleasures, when that sensual pleasure (material enjoyment) comes to an end, he too is sure to die.॥ 27॥
