| जिसका धन केवल धन के लिए ही है, दान आदि के लिए नहीं, वह धन के तत्व को नहीं जानता। जैसे सेवक (ग्वालर) वन में गायों की रक्षा करता है, वैसे ही वह भी किसी अन्य के लिए उस धन का रक्षक मात्र है॥ 24॥ |

| ‘One whose wealth is only for wealth and not for charity etc., does not know the essence of wealth. Just like a servant (cowherd) protects the cows in the forest, in the same way he too is only a protector of that wealth for someone else.॥ 24॥ |
