वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं - हे राजन! ऐसा कहकर जगत के रक्षक भगवान धर्म अन्तर्धान हो गए और वीर पाण्डव, सुखपूर्वक उठकर अपनी थकान मिटाकर, एकत्रित होकर आश्रम में लौट आए। वहाँ पहुँचकर उन्होंने तपस्वी ब्राह्मण को अपनी अरणी और मथानी दे दी।
Vaishampayana says - O King! After saying this, the protector of the world, Lord Dharma disappeared and the brave Pandavas, relieved of their fatigue after waking up comfortably, gathered and returned to the ashram. After reaching there, they gave the ascetic Brahmin his Arani and churning stick.
