युधिष्ठिर उवाच
सन्तो दिग् जलमाकाशं गौरन्नं प्रार्थना विषम्।
श्राद्धस्य ब्राह्मण: काल: कथं वा यक्ष मन्यसे॥ ८६॥
अनुवाद
युधिष्ठिर बोले, "सत्पुरुष दिशाएँ हैं, आकाश जल है, पृथ्वी अन्न है, प्रार्थना विष है और श्राद्ध का समय ब्राह्मण या यक्ष है! इस विषय में आपकी क्या राय है?"
Yudhishthira said, "Saatpurush (virtuous men) are the directions, the sky is water, the earth is food, prayer (wish) is the poison and the time for the shraddha is Brahmin or Yaksha! What is your opinion on this matter?"
