युधिष्ठिर उवाच
आनृशंस्यं परो धर्मस्त्रयीधर्म: सदाफल:।
मनो यम्य न शोचन्ति संधि: सद्भिर्न जीर्यते॥ ७६॥ |

| युधिष्ठिर बोले - संसार में दया ही सर्वश्रेष्ठ धर्म है, वेदों में उपदेशित धर्म सदैव फलदायी होता है, मन को वश में रखने से मनुष्य शोक नहीं करते और सत्पुरुषों के साथ की गई मित्रता नष्ट नहीं होती ॥76॥ |
