अभिधावंस्ततो वाक्यमन्तरिक्षात् स शुश्रुवे।
किमासीदसि पानीयं नैतच्छक्यं बलात् त्वया॥ २६॥
कौन्तेय यदि प्रश्नांस्तान् मयोक्तान् प्रतिपत्स्यसे।
तत: पास्यसि पानीयं हरिष्यसि च भारत॥ २७॥
अनुवाद
दौड़ते हुए उसने आकाशवाणी सुनी - 'कुन्तीनन्दन! तुम जल के पास क्यों जा रहे हो? तुम बलपूर्वक यह जल नहीं पी सकते। भरत! यदि तुम मेरे उन प्रश्नों का उत्तर दे सको, तो यहीं का जल पीकर अपने साथ ले जाओ।'॥ 26-27॥
While running, he heard a voice coming from the sky - 'Kuntinandan! Why are you going near the water? You cannot drink this water by force. Bharat! If you can answer those questions of mine, then drink the water from here and take it with you'॥ 26-27॥
