राजा! जब कर्ण दोपहर के समय जल में खड़े होकर हाथ जोड़कर सूर्यदेव की आराधना करते थे, तब अनेक ब्राह्मण उनसे धन मांगने आते थे। उस समय उनके पास ऐसी कोई वस्तु नहीं थी जो ब्राह्मणों को न दी जा सके।
