पार्थ! आपने सदैव ब्राह्मणों की समस्त कामनाओं की पूर्ति करके उन्हें संतुष्ट किया है। भरत! आपके यहाँ मोक्ष की इच्छा रखने वाले मुनि और गृहस्थ ब्राह्मण स्वर्ण के पात्रों में भोजन करते थे। जहाँ मैं स्वयं अपने हाथों से उन्हें भोजन कराता था। आप वानप्रस्थों को भी स्वर्ण के पात्र देते थे। आपके घर में ऐसी कोई वस्तु नहीं थी, जो ब्राह्मणों के लिए उपलब्ध न हो। 12-13
Partha! You have always satisfied the Brahmins by fulfilling all their desires. Bharat! At your place, the monks who desired salvation and the householder Brahmins used to eat in golden utensils. Where I myself used to serve them with my own hands. You used to give golden utensils to the Vanaprasthas as well. There was no such thing in your house, which was not available for the Brahmins. 12-13.
