Then he went to the forest with his wife and young son and started performing penance by observing strict vows while living in the vast forest. He has a son named Satyavan who was born in the city but was brought up and nurtured in the Tapovan. He is the only suitable husband for me. I have chosen him in my heart.॥9-10॥
