राजा अश्वपति क्षमाशील, सत्यनिष्ठ और संयमी होते हुए भी सन्तानहीन थे। जब बहुत आयु बीत गई, तब वे इस कारण अत्यन्त दुःखी हुए ॥7॥
King Ashwapati, in spite of being forgiving, truthful and self-controlled, was childless. When a considerable age had passed, he became very sad because of this. ॥7॥
