मातलि बोले—सिंह श्री राम! हरे घोड़ों से जुता हुआ यह महान विजय रथ देवराज इन्द्र का है। इसी विशाल रथ से इन्द्र ने युद्धभूमि में सैकड़ों दैत्यों और दानवों का वध किया है। हे नरश्रेष्ठ! मेरे द्वारा चलाए जा रहे इस रथ पर बैठकर युद्ध में शीघ्र ही रावण का वध करो, विलम्ब मत करो।
Matali said—Singh Shri Ram! This great victorious chariot drawn by green horses belongs to Devraj Indra. With this huge chariot Indra has killed hundreds of demons and devils in the battlefield. Best of men! Sit on this chariot driven by me and kill Ravana in the battle quickly, do not delay.
