जल भगवान् का शरीर है, इसीलिए हमने उनका नाम 'नर' सुना है। वह जल ही उनका अयन (घर) है, अर्थात् वे उसी में एकाकार होकर रहते हैं, इसीलिए भगवान् को नारायण कहते हैं।॥42॥
‘Water is the body of the Lord, that is why we have heard His name ‘Nara’. That water is His ayana (home) or He lives in it by becoming one with it, that is why the Lord is called Narayana.'॥ 42॥
