एवमस्त्विति तं राजा कृष्यमाणो जयद्रथ:।
प्रोवाच पुरुषव्याघ्रं भीममाहवशोभिनम्॥ १२॥
अनुवाद
उस समय सिन्धुराज जयद्रथ भूमि पर घसीटा जा रहा था। उसने युद्ध में सुशोभित सिंह-पुरुष भीमसेन के समक्ष उपरोक्त शर्त स्वीकार कर ली तथा अपनी स्वीकृति स्पष्ट रूप से प्रकट कर दी॥12॥
At that time, Sindhuraj Jayadratha was being dragged on the ground. He accepted the above condition and clearly expressed his acceptance to the lion-man Bhimasena who was adorned in battle.॥ 12॥
