यो यानैरद्भुताकारैर्हयैर्नागैश्च संवृत:॥ २९॥
प्रसह्य वित्तान्यादत्त पार्थिवेभ्य: परंतप।
क्षिपत्येकेन वेगेन पञ्चबाणशतानि य:॥ ३०॥
तं ते वनगतं दृष्ट्वा कस्मान्मन्युर्न वर्धते।
अनुवाद
परंतप! अद्भुत आकार वाले रथों, घोड़ों और हाथियों से घिरे हुए, अनेक राजाओं से बलपूर्वक धन छीनने वाले तथा समान बल से पाँच सौ बाण चलाने में समर्थ अर्जुन को वनवास का कष्ट सहते देखकर शत्रुओं पर आपका क्रोध क्यों नहीं बढ़ता?॥29-30 1/2॥
Parantapa! Why does your anger not increase against the enemies when you see Arjuna, who has been surrounded by chariots, horses and elephants of wonderful size, who had forcibly taken wealth from so many kings and who can shoot five hundred arrows with the same force, suffering the pain of exile?॥ 29-30 1/2॥
