युधिष्ठिर उवाच
भद्रे प्रतिक्राम नियच्छ वाचं
मास्मत्सकाशे परुषाण्यवोच:।
राजानो वा यदि वा राजपुत्रा
बलेन मत्ता वञ्चनां प्राप्नुवन्ति॥ २३॥
अनुवाद
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा, "भद्र! चले जाओ। अपनी जीभ बंद करो। हमारे सामने द्रौपदी के विषय में ऐसे अनुचित एवं कठोर वचन मत बोलो। जिन लोगों ने अपने बल के अभिमान में ऐसा निन्दनीय कार्य किया है, वे चाहे राजा हों या राजकुमार, अवश्य ही अपने प्राण और सम्मान से वंचित होंगे।"
Yudhishthira said, "Bhadra! Go away. Shut your tongue. Do not speak such inappropriate and harsh words about Draupadi in front of us. Those who have done such a condemnable act out of pride of their strength, be they kings or princes, they will surely be deprived of their lives and honour."
