तदनन्तर किसी समय महायोगी सत्यवतीनन्दन व्यास पाण्डवों से मिलने वहाँ आये। उस महात्मा को आते देख कुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिर उनका स्वागत करने के लिए थोड़ा आगे बढ़े और उनका यथोचित स्वागत-सत्कार करके उन्हें अपने साथ ले आये।
