युधिष्ठिर उवाच
भगवन् दानधर्माणां तपसो वा महामुने।
किंस्विद् बहुगुणं प्रेत्य किं वा दुष्करमुच्यते॥ २७॥
अनुवाद
युधिष्ठिर ने पूछा - हे प्रभु! महामुने! दान और तप - इनमें से कौन-सा परलोक में अधिक फलदायी माना गया है? और इन दोनों में से कौन-सा अधिक कठिन कहा गया है? 27॥
Yudhishthir asked – Lord! Mahamune! Charity and penance – which of these is considered more fruitful in the next world? And which of these two is said to be more difficult? 27॥
