रात्रि बीत जाने पर जब प्रातःकाल वे उठे, तब उन हिंसक पशुओं पर दया करके महाराज ने अपने सब भाइयों से कहा, 'भाइयों! कल रात को मुझे स्वप्न में इस वन के जो पशु मृत्यु से बच गए थे, उन्होंने मुझसे कहा, 'हे राजन! आपका कल्याण हो। हम अपने वंश के केवल एक रेशे ही शेष रह गए हैं। अब आप हम पर दया कीजिए।'॥10-11॥
After the night had passed, when he woke up in the morning, the great king, moved with compassion for the ferocious animals, said to all his brothers, 'Brothers! Last night in my dream, the animals of this forest, who were saved from death, told me, 'O King! May you be blessed. We are only a single fiber of our lineage left. Now, please have mercy on us.'॥ 10-11॥
