ततो युधिष्ठिरो राजा तच्छ्रुत्वा दूतभाषितम्॥ १२॥
अब्रवीन्नृपशार्दूलो दिष्टॺा राजा सुयोधन:।
यजते क्रतुमुख्येन पूर्वेषां कीर्तिवर्धन:॥ १३॥
अनुवाद
दूत की यह बात सुनकर राजाओं में सिंह के समान महाराज युधिष्ठिर ने इस प्रकार कहा - 'यह सौभाग्य की बात है कि राजाओं में श्रेष्ठ, अपने पूर्वजों का यश बढ़ाने वाले राजा सुयोधन इस यज्ञ के द्वारा भगवान की पूजा कर रहे हैं।'
On hearing this statement of the messenger, Maharaja Yudhishthira, who is like a lion among kings, replied thus - 'It is a matter of good fortune that King Suyodhana, the best of kings, who enhances the glory of his ancestors, is worshipping the Lord through this yajna. 12-13.
