तस्मादस्माभिरप्यत्र दैत्या: शतसहस्रश:।
नियुक्ता राक्षसाश्चैव ये ते संशप्तका इति॥ २३॥
प्रख्यातास्तेऽर्जुनं वीरं हनिष्यन्ति च मा शुच:।
असपत्ना त्वया हीयं भोक्तव्या वसुधा नृप॥ २४॥

इसीलिए हमने एक लाख दैत्यों और राक्षसों को, जो संशप्तकों के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हैं, इस कार्य में लगा दिया है। वे वीर अर्जुन का वध कर देंगे। इसलिए आपको शोक नहीं करना चाहिए। हे राजे! आपको इस पृथ्वी का कष्टरहित राज्य भोगना है॥ 23-24॥
That is why we have also engaged one lakh demons and monsters, who are famous by the name of Sanshaptakas, in this task. They will kill the brave Arjun. Therefore, you should not grieve. O Lord of kings! You have to enjoy the trouble-free rule of this earth.॥ 23-24॥
