एते रथा नरव्याघ्रा: सर्वशस्त्रसमन्विता:।
धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्राणां विमला: काञ्चनध्वजा:॥ ८॥
सस्वनानधिरोहध्वं नित्यसज्जानिमान् रथान्।
इन्द्रसेनादिभि: सूतै: कृतशस्त्रैरधिष्ठितान्॥ ९॥
एतानास्थाय वै यत्ता गन्धर्वान् योद्धुमाहवे।
सुयोधनस्य मोक्षाय प्रयतध्वमतन्द्रिता:॥ १०॥ |

| नरसिंह! ये कौरवों के पवित्र रथ स्वर्ण ध्वजों से युक्त सामने खड़े हैं। इनमें सब प्रकार के अस्त्र-शस्त्र विद्यमान हैं। ये चलते समय घोर ध्वनि करते हैं। ये रथ सदैव सुसज्जित रहते हैं। इन पर अस्त्र-शस्त्र विद्या में निपुण इन्द्रसेन जैसे सारथी विराजमान रहते हैं। तुम सब लोग इन रथों पर आरूढ़ होकर गंधर्वों से युद्ध करने के लिए तैयार हो जाओ और सावधान होकर दुर्योधन को छुड़ाने का प्रयत्न करो। |
