अमित्रप्रहितांश्चापि गदान् परमदारुणान्।
मूलप्रचारैर्हि विषं प्रयच्छन्ति जिघांसव:॥ १४॥ |

| इसके अतिरिक्त ऐसे अवसरों पर अनेक स्त्रियाँ शत्रुओं द्वारा भेजी हुई औषधियों से अपने पतियों को धोखा देकर उन्हें अत्यन्त भयंकर रोगों से पीड़ित कर देती हैं। जो पुरुष किसी को मारना चाहते हैं, वे उसकी पत्नी के हाथ में विष रख देते हैं और यह प्रचार करते हैं कि 'यह पति को वश में करने वाली जड़ी-बूटी है।'॥14॥ |

| ‘Apart from this, on such occasions many women make their husbands suffer from very dangerous diseases by deceiving them with medicines sent by enemies. Men who want to kill someone put poison in the hands of his wife, propagating that ‘this is a herb to subdue the husband’.॥ 14॥ |
