वैशम्पायन उवाच
उपासीनेषु विप्रेषु पाण्डवेषु महात्मसु।
द्रौपदी सत्यभामा च विविशाते तदा समम्॥ १॥
जाहस्यमाने सुप्रीते सुखं तत्र निषीदतु:।
चिरस्य दृष्ट्वा राजेन्द्र तेऽन्योन्यस्य प्रियंवदे॥ २॥ |

| वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं - जनमेजय! जब महाबली पाण्डव और ब्राह्मण लोग बैठकर धर्म-विषयक चर्चा कर रहे थे, तब द्रौपदी और सत्यभामा भी एक ओर जाकर सुखपूर्वक बैठ गईं और आपस में अत्यन्त प्रसन्नतापूर्वक हास-परिहास करने लगीं। राजन! उन दोनों ने बहुत दिनों के बाद एक-दूसरे को देखा था, इसलिए वे वहाँ बैठकर सुखपूर्वक एक-दूसरे को प्रिय लगने वाली बातें करने लगीं। |
