जिस प्रकार पुरुषों में भगवान रुद्र श्रेष्ठ हैं, उसी प्रकार स्त्रियों में आर्या श्रेष्ठ मानी गई हैं। आर्या कुमार कार्तिकेय की माता हैं। लोग अपनी कामनाओं की पूर्ति के लिए उपर्युक्त ग्रहों से पृथक इनकी पूजा करते हैं। इस प्रकार मैंने कुमार से संबंधित ये महान ग्रह बताए हैं। सोलह वर्ष की आयु तक ये संतान के लिए अशुभ होते हैं। 41-42 1/2।
