हे देवश्रेष्ठ! हम समस्त जगत द्वारा पूजित हों। पहले जो मातृकाएँ थीं, अब उनकी पूजा न की जाए। उन्होंने आपके निमित्त हम पर झूठा आरोप लगाया है, हमारे पतियों को रुष्ट किया है और हमारा सन्तान सुख छीन लिया है। अतः आप हमें सन्तान प्रदान करें (हमारे पतियों को अनुकूल बनाएँ और हमें सन्तान सुख प्रदान करें)॥17॥
O best of the gods! May we be worshipped by the entire world. The Matrikas who were there earlier should not be worshipped now. They have falsely accused us for your sake and have angered our husbands and snatched away our happiness of having children. Therefore, please bless us with children (make our husbands favourable and grant us the happiness of having children).॥17॥
