अभिजित् के पतन के पश्चात ब्रह्मा जी ने यत्नपूर्वक काल (सत्ययुग आदि) की गणना का क्रम निश्चित किया (क्योंकि उस समय युगादि नक्षत्र था)। इससे पूर्व रोहिणी ही युगादि नक्षत्र मानी जाती थी (क्योंकि उसके प्रारम्भिक काल में चन्द्रमा, सूर्य और बृहस्पति की युति थी) - इस प्रकार उन दिनों में नक्षत्र मास के दिनों की संख्या सम होती थी। 10॥
After the fall of Abhijit, Brahma ji determined the order of calculation of the period (Satyayuga etc.) with due diligence (because at that time there was Yugadi Nakshatra). Before this, only Rohini was considered to be the Yugaadi Nakshatra (because in its initial period there was a conjunction of Moon, Sun and Jupiter) – thus the number of days of the sidereal month was even in those days. 10॥
