बृहस्पतिर्मन्त्रविद्धि जजाप च जुहाव च।
एवं स्कन्दस्य महिषीं देवसेनां विदुर्जना:॥ ४९॥
अनुवाद
उस समय मन्त्रों के ज्ञाता बृहस्पतिजी ने वैदिक मन्त्रों का पाठ किया और अग्नि-यज्ञ किया। इस प्रकार सभी को ज्ञात हो गया कि देवसेना कुमार कार्तिकेय की पत्नी हैं।
At that time Brihaspatiji, the knower of mantras, recited the Vedic mantras and performed a fire sacrifice. In this way everyone came to know that Devasena is the consort of Kumar Kartikeya.
