उस समय सब ओर लोगों को अत्यन्त प्रिय लगने वाले वेद मन्त्रों की ध्वनि गूँजने लगी, देवताओं के सुन्दर वाद्य भी बजने लगे, देवता और गन्धर्व गान करने लगे और समस्त अप्सराएँ नृत्य करने लगीं। ये तथा अन्य अनेक देवता और दैत्यों के समूह नाना प्रकार के आभूषणों से सुसज्जित होकर स्कन्द को घेरे हुए हर्षित और संतुष्ट होकर खड़े थे।
