प्रत्येक गृहकार्य में घी की धारा सदैव उस अग्नि में दी जाती है जिसका प्रवाह उत्तर दिशा की ओर हो और इस प्रकार दी गई घी की आहुति से अभीष्ट कामना पूर्ण होती है। इसीलिए उस उत्तम अग्नि का नाम 'स्विष्कृत' है। (उसे बृहस्पति का छठा पुत्र समझना चाहिए)। 21॥
In every household work, a stream of ghee is always given to the fire whose flow is towards north and the offering of ghee given in this way fulfills the desired wish. That is why the name of that excellent fire is ‘Svishtkrit’. (He should be considered the sixth son of Jupiter). 21॥
