धर्मव्याध के माता-पिता भोजन करके तृप्त होकर सुन्दर आसन पर बैठे थे। उन दोनों ने श्वेत वस्त्र धारण कर रखे थे और पुष्प, चंदन आदि से उनकी पूजा हो रही थी। धर्मव्याध ने उन्हें देखते ही उनके चरणों पर सिर रख दिया और भूमि पर गिरकर दण्डवत् प्रणाम किया।
