अचेतनं जीवगुणं वदन्ति
स चेष्टते चेष्टयते च सर्वम्।
तत: परं क्षेत्रविदो वदन्ति
प्राकल्पयद् यो भुवनानि सप्त॥ २२॥
अनुवाद
शरीर तत्त्वों के ज्ञाता महात्मा पुरुष जड़ शरीर आदि को जीव का भोग बताते हैं। वह जीव स्वयं शरीर के भीतर रहकर क्रियाशील रहता है और शरीर, इन्द्रिय आदि का उपयोग समस्त कार्यों में करता है। ज्ञानी पुरुष सातों लोकों की रचना करने वाले परमात्मा को जीवात्मा से श्रेष्ठ मानते हैं। 22॥
Mahatma Purusha, who is knowledgeable about body elements, describes the inanimate body etc. as the enjoyment of the living being. That living being itself is active while living inside the body and uses the body, senses etc. in all the activities. The knowledgeable persons consider the Supreme Soul who has created the seven worlds to be superior to the living soul. 22॥
