प्राण आदि वायु जब परस्पर मिलते हैं, तब संघर्ष उत्पन्न होता है। उससे जो ऊष्मा उत्पन्न होती है, उसे जठराग्नि समझना चाहिए। यही देहधारियों द्वारा खाए गए अन्न को पचाती है। ॥11॥
When the air like prana etc. meet each other, a conflict arises. The heat that arises from it should be considered as the gastric fire. It is this which digests the food eaten by the embodied beings. ॥ 11॥
