पराभूताश्च दैत्येन्द्रास्त्वयि क्रुद्धे महाद्युते।
त्वं हि कर्ता विकर्ता च भूतानामिह सर्वश:॥ २३॥
आराधयित्वा त्वां देवा: सुखमेधन्ति सर्वश:।

महाद्युते! आपके क्रोध के कारण ही दैत्य राजा देवताओं के समक्ष पराजित होते हैं। आप इस संसार के समस्त जीवों के रचयिता और संहारक हैं। हे प्रभु! आपकी आराधना मात्र से ही समस्त देवता सुख और समृद्धि प्राप्त करते हैं। 23 1/2॥
Mahadyute! It is because of your anger that the demon kings are defeated in front of the gods. You are the creator and destroyer of all living beings in this world. Lord! All the gods attain happiness and prosperity only by worshiping you. 23 1/2॥
