श्रोत्रियाय दरिद्राय गृहस्थायाग्निहोत्रिणे।
पुत्रदाराभिभूताय तथा ह्यनुपकारिणे॥ २७॥
अनुवाद
दान स्वीकार करने वाला ब्राह्मण श्रोत्रिय, दरिद्र, गृहस्थ, नियमित अग्निहोत्र करने वाला, दरिद्रता के कारण स्त्री-पुत्रों का तिरस्कार सहने वाला तथा जिससे दान देने वाले को न तो कोई अनुग्रह प्राप्त हुआ हो और न भविष्य में कोई अनुग्रह प्राप्त होने की संभावना हो, ऐसा होना चाहिए॥ 27॥
The Brahmin who accepts the donation should be a Shrotri, poor, a householder, one who regularly performs Agnihotra, who has to bear the scorn of his wife and children due to poverty and from whom the donor has neither received any favor nor there is any possibility of receiving any favor in the future.॥ 27॥
