अतः मनुष्य को चाहिए कि इन्द्रियों को शुद्ध करके इन विषय-भोगों का त्याग कर दे। इन्द्रियों की पवित्रता और संयम से होने वाला यह व्रत (विषयों का परित्याग) दिव्य है ॥117॥
Therefore, man should give up these sensual pleasures by purifying the senses. This fasting (abstention of objects) that occurs due to purity and restraint of senses is divine. 117॥
