भक्ष्यते सलिले मत्स्यैस्तथा सर्वत्र वित्तवान्॥ ४०॥
अनुवाद
'जैसे मांस का टुकड़ा आकाश में पक्षी, पृथ्वी पर पशु और जल में मछलियाँ खा जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार धनवान मनुष्य को सब जगह सब लोग खा जाते हैं ॥40॥
'Just as a piece of meat is eaten by the birds in the sky, the beasts on the earth and the fishes in the water, in the same way a rich man is eaten up by everyone everywhere. 40॥
