वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं: हे राजन! जब रात्रि बीत गई और प्रातःकाल हुआ, तब महान पराक्रमी पाण्डव सहसा वन में जाने के लिए तैयार हो गए। एक भिक्षावृत्ति करने वाला ब्राह्मण उनके साथ जाने को तत्पर होकर उनके सामने खड़ा हो गया।
Vaishmpayana says: O King, when the night was over and the morning dawned, the Pandavas, who were endowed with great valour, suddenly got ready to go to the forest, a Brahmin who was an alms-eater stood in front of them, willing to accompany them.
