स मुहूर्तं ध्यात्वा बाष्पसम्पूर्णनयन उद्विग्नहृदयो वेपमानो विसंज्ञकल्प: प्राञ्जलिरब्रवीत्। किमहमेनं न प्रत्यभिज्ञास्यामीह ह्यनेन सहस्रकृत्वश्चितिषु यूपा आहिता:॥ १०॥

कुछ देर ध्यान करने के बाद, नेत्रों में आँसू और व्याकुल हृदय से, काँपती हुई अवस्था में हाथ जोड़कर उसने कहा - 'मैं उसे क्यों न पहचानूँ? उसने अग्नि स्थापना के समय एक हजार बार यज्ञ की स्थापना की है॥ 10॥
After meditating for a while, with tears in his eyes and a disturbed heart, he said with folded hands in a trembling state - 'Why would I not recognize him? He has established the sacrificial fire a thousand times at the time of setting up the fire.॥ 10॥
