पानी पीकर जब उसे थोड़ी तसल्ली हुई, तो उसने घोड़े के आगे कमल की कुछ नालियाँ रख दीं और झील के किनारे लेट गया। लेटे-लेटे ही उसे कहीं से एक मधुर गीत सुनाई दिया।
