मार्कण्डेय कहते हैं: युधिष्ठिर! उस समय भगवान कल्कि समस्त चोरों, लुटेरों और म्लेच्छों का नाश करके अश्वमेध नामक महान यज्ञ करेंगे, जिसमें वे सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी को विधिपूर्वक ब्राह्मण को दान कर देंगे॥ 1॥
Mārkaṇḍeyā says: Yudhishthir! At that time, after destroying all thieves, robbers and mlecchas, Lord Kalki will perform a great sacrifice called Ashwamedha in which he will give away the entire earth to a Brahmin in a proper manner.॥ 1॥
