हे ब्रह्माजी! प्रलयकाल समाप्त होने पर जब पितामह ब्रह्माजी जागते हैं, तब वायु को सब दिशाओं में फैलाकर और उसके द्वारा जल को इधर-उधर (सूखे स्थानों में) बिखेरकर ब्रह्माजी द्वारा चार प्रकार के जीव उत्पन्न होते हैं - यौवन, अण्डज, स्वेद और वनस्पति। आप ही उन्हें (सबसे पहले) स्पष्ट रूप से देख सकते हैं।॥5-6॥
O sage Brahma! Then, after the period of deluge is over, when the grandfather Brahma wakes up, then by spreading the air in all directions and by means of it scattering all the water here and there (in dry places) the four kinds of creatures, namely, viviparous, oviparous, sweat-born and plant-born, are created by Brahmaji. You alone can see them clearly (first of all). ॥ 5-6॥
