अल्पसाराल्पदेहाश्च तथा सत्याल्पभाषिण:।
बहुशून्या जनपदा मृगव्यालावृता दिश:॥ ३८॥
युगान्ते समनुप्राप्ते वृथा च ब्रह्मवादिन:।
भोवादिनस्तथा शूद्रा ब्राह्मणाश्चार्यवादिन:॥ ३९॥
अनुवाद
लोग छोटे कद के होंगे। उनका शारीरिक बल बहुत कम हो जाएगा और उनकी वाणी में सत्य बहुत कम होगा। प्रायः पूरे के पूरे जनपद जनशून्य हो जाएँगे। सभी दिशाएँ पशुओं और साँपों से भर जाएँगी। जब युग का अंत निकट होगा, तब अधिकांश लोग (अनुभव न होने पर भी) ब्रह्मज्ञान की व्यर्थ बातें करेंगे। शूद्र द्विजों को भो (ऐ) कहेंगे और ब्राह्मण शूद्रों को आर्य अर्थात् आप कहेंगे।॥38-39॥
People will be of short stature. Their physical strength will be greatly reduced and their words will contain very little truth. Often entire districts will be devoid of people. All directions will be filled with animals and snakes. When the end of the age is near, most people (despite not having the experience) will speak uselessly about Brahma Gyan. Shudras will call the twice-born people as Bho (Ai) and Brahmins will address Shudras as Arya, that is, Aap.॥ 38-39॥
