गाय के शरीर पर जितने रोएँ होते हैं, उतने वर्षों तक दानकर्ता को गाय दान का पुण्य प्राप्त होता है। इसके अतिरिक्त, गाय दानकर्ता के पुत्रों, पौत्रों तथा सात पीढ़ियों तक के समस्त कुल का परलोक में उद्धार करती है।॥12॥
The donor enjoys the merits of donating a cow for as many years as the number of hairs on the cow's body. In addition, the cow uplifts the donor's sons, grandsons and the entire family of seven generations in the next world.॥12॥
