श्रोतुमिच्छामहे विप्र यदि श्रोतव्यमित्युत।
स तानुवाच नास्माकं मृत्यु: प्रभवते नृपा:॥ १७॥
अनुवाद
ब्रह्मन्! हम ये सब रहस्य सुनना चाहते हैं। यदि ये सुनने योग्य हों, तो हमें बताइए।’ तब महर्षि ने उन क्षत्रियों से कहा - ‘राजाओं! मृत्यु का हम पर कोई वश नहीं है।’॥17॥
Brahmin! We want to hear all these secrets. If they are worth listening, then tell us.' Then the Maharishi said to those Kshatriyas - 'Kings! Death has no control over us.'॥ 17॥
