तुम सब लोग वीर हो और तप, इन्द्रिय-संयम तथा सदाचार में सदैव तत्पर रहते हो। अतः (इस लोक में महान् महत्त्वपूर्ण कर्म करके) देवताओं, ऋषियों तथा समस्त पितरों को उत्तम प्रकार से संतुष्ट करोगे। तत्पश्चात् अपने पुण्यकर्मों के फलस्वरूप तुम सब लोग एक-एक करके पुण्यात्माओं के धाम परम स्वर्ग को जाओगे। इसलिए कौरवराज! तुम (अपने वर्तमान दुःख को देखकर) अपने मन में किसी प्रकार का संदेह न करो। यह दुःख तुम्हारे भावी सुख का सूचक मात्र है। 94-95॥
All of you are brave and always ready for penance, control of senses and good conduct. Therefore (by doing great important works in this world) you will satisfy the gods, sages and all the ancestors in the best way. Thereafter, as a result of your good deeds, all of you will one by one go to the supreme heaven, the abode of virtuous souls. That's why Kauravaraj! You (looking at your present suffering) do not give place to any kind of doubt in your mind. This suffering is only an indicator of your future happiness. 94-95॥
इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि मार्कण्डेयसमास्यापर्वणि त्र्यशीत्यधिकशततमोऽध्याय:॥ १८३॥
