देही च देहं संत्यज्य मृग्यमाण: शुभाशुभै:।
कथं संयुज्यते प्रेत्य इह वा द्विजसत्तम॥ ५९॥
अनुवाद
हे ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठ! जब जीव शरीर त्यागकर परलोक में जाता है, तब उसके शुभ-अशुभ कर्म उसे किस प्रकार प्राप्त होते हैं तथा जीव इस लोक और परलोक में उन कर्मों के फल को किस प्रकार भोगता है?॥ 59॥
O best of Brahmins! When a living being leaves his body and goes to the other world, how do his good and bad deeds reach him and how does the living being come into contact with the results of those deeds in this world and the other world?॥ 59॥
