'प्रभो! हमने अपनी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुसार पूरे बारह वर्ष निर्जन वनों में भ्रमण करते हुए बिताये हैं। अब विधिपूर्वक वनवास की अवधि पूरी करके हम सभी पाण्डव आपकी आज्ञा के अधीन हो जायेंगे। प्रभो! आपकी बुद्धि भी सदैव ऐसी ही बनी रहे। ये पाण्डव सदैव सत्य के पालन में लगे रहे हैं। प्रभो! हम सभी दान और सदाचार से युक्त कुन्तीपुत्र, अपने सेवकों, कुटुम्बियों, पत्नियों, पुत्रों और सम्बन्धियों सहित आपकी ही शरण में हैं।'॥39-40॥
‘Lord! As per our promise, we have spent the entire twelve years roaming in deserted forests. Now, after completing the period of exile in a lawful manner, all of us Pandavas will become subject to your command. Lord! May your wisdom also always remain like this. These Pandavas have always been engaged in the observance of truth. Lord! We all sons of Kunti, endowed with charity and virtue, along with our servants, family members, wives, sons and relatives, are only in your refuge.'॥ 39-40॥
