'भूपशिरोमणे! आपकी आज्ञा से हम लोग मान-अपमान का विचार त्यागकर निर्भय होकर वन में विचरण करेंगे। पहले हम निकटवर्ती स्थान में ठहरेंगे और दुर्योधन आदि के मन में वहाँ खोजने की इच्छा उत्पन्न करेंगे, फिर वहाँ से दूर किसी ऐसे स्थान पर चले जाएँगे, जहाँ वे हमें ढूँढ़ न सकें॥9॥
'Bhupshiromane! By your order we will roam in the forest without any fear, leaving aside the thoughts of honour and dishonour. First we will stay in a nearby place and create a desire in the minds of Duryodhan and others to search there and then from there we will go to a far off place, so that they will not be able to find us.॥ 9॥
